Wings & Wheels will take place from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Hummel Airfield in Topping. In addition to dozens of automobiles and aircraft, food and craft vendors are located throughout the festival grounds for all visitors. There is free admittance for visitors; however, donations are appreciated. Parking is also available within walking distance with an appreciated $5.00 donation to the Fire Department. Sauturday and Sunday
"Let Freedom Ring" will take place from 8a.m.-6:00 p.m. at Lonesome Pine Airport in Wise. Sponsored by EAA Chapter 1416, the event honors veterans, pays tribute to those who have fallen and educates children. There will be static displays and fly-bys of warbirds. 2010 Dulles Family Day & Plane Pull will be held at Washington Dulles International Airport. A benefit for Special Olympics Virginia, the pull is a fun team competition to see which group can pull a 164,000+ pound Airbus the fastest. An entire festival has grown up around the competition, and features a wide range of events and activities for the entire family. Come check out the car show, aircraft displays, exhibitor areas, games, & rides in the Kids Corner, live music, concessions and more! Twin County Airport 2010 Open House Fly-In/Drive-In will be held from 10 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Static displays of military aircraft, helicopters, biplanes, and powered parachutes; radio-controlled aircraft demonstrations; classic car cruise-in; live entertainment; and food and drink concessions.
