The Virginia winners of 2014 International Aviation Art Contest have been chosen. The theme this year was "Flying Saves Lives".
Entries in each age group were judged this year by Bill Kluge, a professional aviation artist, illustrator and graphic designer for NASA and select employees from the Virginia Department of Aviation with an aviation background. Winners receive a certificate and recognition from the Commonwealth. The top three entries in each age group are forwarded to Washington, D.C., to be judged in the national competition.
